Douglas Bayley

Manager - Sales BC Region

Doug Started with Blue Max in 1999 as an installer before moving to sales & then Manager.

Doug works with customers to identify and establish a first class solution to a safe working environment in their vehicle. Doug does this by matching Blue Max's wide array of lighting, and vehicle based products to best suit their needs.

Doug enjoys being hands on and would rather hold a screw driver than push a pen around a desk, he loves a challenge, so when you have a large project, a tight budget, or you need a solution to a difficult problem he's your guy.

Doug studied Robotics at BCIT and worked as a Parts & Service Manager for an RV Dealership for 10 years. Doug enjoys the out doors, most weekends you will find him either crashing on Upper Oil Can on his mountain bike, chasing a golf ball into the woods, guarding the pipes on the soccer field, or walking the trails in Lynn Canyon with his Siberian husky.

Karl Hunter

Karl has been with Blue Max for over 10 years. During this time he has worked as an Installation Technician, Shop Foreman, Customer Service and Sales Representative and Special Projects Manager. Karl specializes in Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) and surveillance. His experience and expertise in all aspects of emergency equipment and vehicle equipping are a consistent asset to Blue Max and our customers.

Karl is an avid car enthusiast and participates in amateur motorsports driving his Camaro and as Crew Chief for the Blue Max Motorsports team. Karl has been involved in Motorsports for over 14 years, and part of the Blue Max Motorsports team for over 10 years. Karl has won regional championships in Autoslalom racing, and has been part of numerous wins and track record lap times for the Blue Max #67 Vintage 1968 Chevrolet Camaro and the Blue Max #69 Super Production 1969 Corvette.

Vercil Ciar

Shop Technician, Tech Support for Radar and Video Systems

For over 6 years, Vercil has been an asset to BlueMax. With his degree in Electronics, including computer systems and telecommunications systems, he has the ability to solve and repair even the most challenging problems. Vercil is a factory trained and certified technician for many popular brands of digital video systems, radar and laser systems. Vercil works hard as electronics/ install technician and educates himself on new systems.

Darren Baker

Shop Technician, Tech Support

Darren has been with BlueMax for 2 two years. He brings with him 15 years of vehicle install experience, including 12 years as a surveillance technician specializing in worldwide GPS tracking. Trained as a low-voltage technician and a licensed private investigator; Darren has provided technical surveillance services for companies across Canada, USA, England and India. He is always happy to assist in any way he can, often looking for new technology and products that are relevant to law enforcement professionals.

Kim Thoring

Inside most successful businesses is one efficient woman; Kim Thoring is ours. She is in control of our front end communication , purchasing, receivables and other administrative tasks. Kim has been a smiling face here for over ten years, and has experience in importing and exporting.

Cherry Wang

Cherry as been employed with Blue Max since 2008, and she is Responsible for accounting and payroll. She has studied accounting, medicine and project management, with her studies and travel taking her to more than 20 countries. Cherry's hobbies include traveling, planting and watching movies
